近期的英特尔 GrowthX 第九期加速营迎来了两家外部初创企业，云谷智联与Incooling。他们是GrowthX 开放合作式创新项目以来的第一批入选企业，分别专注于5G的边云协同解决方案与高性能计算机的能源管理。加入GrowthX 的加速营之前，两家初创企业就已经形成了自己的核心技术理念，在加速过程中，他们主要任务是通过英特尔的平台进行产品研发和概念的验证。
After running eight batches of acceleration exclusively with internal innovators, Intel® GrowthX has opened its doors to external startups for the first time. Batch 9 features two cool startups - Incooling & CloudValley, building proofs of concept (POCs) that marries Intel’s core technologies with their own to bring new innovations & experiences to the ecosystem while creating business growth opportunities for both.

CloudValley: Bringing "5G Intelligent Connection" to the Industrial Internet of Things
云谷智联开发的是边云协同的端到端整体方案，帮助行业用户快速低成本地解决“5G智联”的诉求。以能源矿山细分行业为例，大多数矿山运营的管理系统都是相互独立的，数据传输的延时和可靠性得不到保障。云谷智联的解决方案则可以确保井下的数据收集、处理和警告触发等步骤的零延迟，极大地提高井下作业安全。
CloudValley develops end-to-end holistic solutions for edge-cloud collaboration, helping companies in various industries solve the demands of "5G intelligent connection" quickly and inexpensively. Take mining sector for example, most of the operations management systems are independent of each other, leading to data transmission delays and unreliable operation. With the deployment of CloudValley solution, mine operators can collect data and process it accurately in real time thus greatly enhancing operational efficiency & mine safety.
曾就职于英特尔的康凯先生是云谷智联的联合创始人，作为本次GrowthX 的创新加速项目的负责人，他在ICT行业有着20年的经验，既了解英特尔的技术生态，又对通信行业有着深刻的见解。他认为目前5G是数字化转型的新赛道，而To B是趋势，云谷智联与英特尔的合作会产生非常可观的商业价值。目前康凯和他的团队成员正在基于英特尔技术平台调试CT通道软件和设计边缘IT解决方案, 从5G基站到5G核心网以及openNESS的通道已经打通，云谷智联的首个行业产品即将成功落地！
Kevin Kang, an Intel veteran, is the co-founder of CloudValley and project leader participating in GrowthX Acceleration Program. He has 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, with a solid understanding of Intel's tech ecosystem and telecommunications industry. Kevin sees 5G as the key enabler for digital transformation at the moment, and “To B” as the key market. So, he believes that this POC with Intel will create great business values. The team is currently building software and designing the edge solutions based on Intel's hardware platform as well as Intel’s openNESS open standard. They have successfully connected the channels between 5G base stations and 5G core network and are on track to launch its first industry product!

GrowthX 招募的另一家初创企业来自荷兰，该公司研发了新一代芯片冷却技术，其灵感源于欧洲核子研究组织（CERN）在大型强子对撞机（全球最大型的科学实验）中使用的冷却系统。Incooling已经为数据中心设计了一个相变冷却系统，它能达到更高效的散热效果，为高密度处理器创造最佳的热环境。
Hailing from the Netherlands, Incooling is another startup recruited by GrowthX. The company develops innovative chip cooling solutions inspired by technology at CERN used in the Large Hadron Collider – the largest scientific experiment in the world. Incooling’s design makes use of next generation phase-change cooling system for Data Centers that allows for more efficient heat dissipation and creates an optimal thermal environment for high-density processors.

加入GrowthX 的合作式创新项目前，Incooling 已经和服务器制造商技嘉建立了合作关系，成功开展多项业务，并在2020年初与ASML拿下了欧洲著名的创新奖项：CoSta Awards（该奖项旨在表彰大企业与初创企业之间最成功、最具影响力的创新合作）。在加速营，Incooling 将为英特尔突破集成电路发展的摩尔定律探索一种新的技术可能，也与英特尔开始了另一项应用于高频交易服务器的新技术概念验证，该突破也会为整个计算机行业带来新的发展机会。
The startup has a proven track record having established partnerships with server manufacturers GIGABYTE, in addition to recently being awarded the first European Innovation CoSta Award together with ASML for the most successful and impactful innovation collaboration between a corporate and a startup.
Incooling has kickstarted the acceleration project at GrowthX, providing a new possibility for Intel to break through the barrier of Moore's Law of integrated circuits. The team is also building a proof of concept in the “High Frequency Financial Trading” segment. The co-development aims not only at leapfrogging the technology but also to bring more opportunities to the entire computing industry.

CloudValley and Incooling are the first independent startups to collaborate with Intel through the GrowthX Open Innovation Platform.
